Memorable Quotes

As we are getting in to the airport and then train into Rome we hear all these languages - trying to identify.  Then Andy says “and there are so many Italians!”  

After we went through the Sistine Chapel, I said “Those paintings were incredible, but I didn’t see that famous one with God touching the hand of Adam.”   The momentary look on Andy’s face was priceless before he quickly figured out I was joking. 

As we are walking around we see something we want to explore like a church, inner courtyard, or store, we say “when in Rome” and then turn and head in.   

So many of the clocks on churches and on the street are set to the wrong time or not working.   We call this Italian Standard Time.
