Day One of Week 2 - Siena

Checking out of our Fantastic Florentine Flat, we rented a car and drove south into the Chianti region and on to Siena.  We found ourselves in the main square:

I suddenly recognized this square as having an incredible crazy horse race every year.  I had seen a documentary on this tradition that has been going on for over 500 years 

And then The Siena duomo and up to a fantastic lookout.
